Fundraiser for communities of Capricorn & Vrygrond in Muizenberg, Cape Town

Hi friends and family!

I'll be travelling to Muizenberg, a town in Western Cape, South Africa.

Arriving October 18th.

I am volunteering with IVHQ:

"On this project you are placed in day care centers attended by children from poor backgrounds and broken homes. Some of the children have lost their parents to crime, alcohol or drug abuse, and HIV/ AIDS, forcing them to live with their relatives or neighbors, who often do not have the means to take proper care of them."

I am hoping to raise money for a cash donation, as well as purchasing toys/supplies locally to contribute to nearby communities. I imagine I will have a better idea of what types of items are needed once I arrive and get a chance to talk with the permanent team there.
