Fundraiser for Ann

I created this fund-raiser to help Ann Swissdorf with her recent legal battles.

We all know what Ann and Peter Swissdorf has done for the Vegan Community, for Animal rights, and lets not forget VegFest. Lets now help the Swissdorfs!

Details:

Ann Swissdorf recently filed for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to try to keep a person away from her who has been negatively affecting her life for the last three years. This person followed Ann's TRO with a counter TRO, which caused Ann to need to retain an attorney. Both parties then voluntarily went into mediation and Ann thought/hoped it was settled.

On 07/11 Ann attended a regular community gathering, as she has for over 2 years.  Ann attended in good faith according to the mediation agreement of the TRO, but this person also appeared, then left. Then the other party had a warrant issued for Ann's arrest. On 7/15, Ann then attended another gathering which she had attended since it started. She left early and went to the business next door to have coffee with friends. Just then, the other party arrived and called the police. Ann did not know about the warrant until the police came to arrest her in front of the community gathering of her friends and peers. Furthermore, video was taken of Ann's arrest by a friend of this person. This video has been posted on that person's FaceBook page, which was very humiliating to Ann.  

Ann will now have to go back to court to resolve this issuance of this charge and warrant, and to also revisit the TRO situation. Ann has had to retain her attorney again for these upcoming cases, which has put a great financial strain on her and Peter.

All Ann has ever wanted, is to be left in peace, and they have repeatedly expressed this wish to this other person. Now, they want to make sure this actually happens.
