Fundraiser for 3 new tennis nets for the Heaton park tennis courts

Played a game at the courts today so know there is a demand. Sometimes difficult to understand councilgovernment spending priorities, but great to see someone make an effort. Hope this helps. James

Hi Brendan and Manu. I work for the Lawn Tennis Association and one of my colleagues has forwarded on information regarding your fund raising. If you are interested I would like to meet up with you to find out more about your plans and if there is anything the the LTA can help with? I am aware of the courts through my work with Newcastle City Council but I’m not sure what their plans are regarding the park (and courts). However I can speak to them once I’ve spoken to yourselves. Great idea. Makes me sad to see such poorly maintained courts when they are so well used
