Campaign Story
Hundreds of Zimbabweans are stranded in South Africa due to the nationwide lockdown which has been on since March. Many lost their jobs, especially those working in hotels, restaurants, fast foods outlets & clubs . They are without food & some are now homeless because of failure to pay rentals. They are willing to return home, because in these times home is better.
The government has intervened by organising transport & have liaised with the South African government for a smooth passage but sadly they are not paying for the bus tickets. These are the same people who doesn't have R100 to buy food which makes it virtually impossible for them to pay R600 which is what Eagleliner is charging for the trip to Beitbridge border.
I'm appealing for donations for us to purchase bus tickets for the trip back home, If there is any money left we can use it to buy food that they will eat whilst under quarantine. This is a matter of urgency as some are with minors.
God Bless
