Campaign Story
20 years ago, Lorraine and Roy fell in love with the Gambia! Moving over there the Gambian family grew. Jainaba and Os, became a massive part of our lives, along with their 5 children. Sira, Amboy, Bob, Lorraine and Dawn.
Before Osman passed away Roy made a promise to him, to always take care of his family. Sadly, over the last week his beautiful wife Jainaba also passed away. The children are left alone, we now need your help to keep that promise.
£10 to you is worth 2 weeks wages of someone working full time in Gambia.
Losing Jainaba is heart breaking for not only her family, Roy and Lorraine but for everyone that were fortunate to have met her. Jainaba has left behind 5 beautiful children that desperately need our help! Many of you may have met them on your travels to Gambia. Jainaba not only financially supported her family, but many people in the village.
What ever you can spare goes a very long way in Gambia. Lets show Jainaba and Os how much they meant to us by taking care of their family. <3 <3 <3
