Campaign Story
Skyler Athena is our daughter. She was diagnose with Down Syndrome and she was born with a cleft lip and palate. She is currently 11 months old and will be 1 year old on April 23. Beside her cleft lip and palate, she was also diagnosed with Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). She has a hole in her heart that needs to be closed by an ASD device, which costs around 400k to 500k Php.
We can share a copy of her lab results for legitimacy. My wife and I are knocking in the hearts of those people who are generous to help us support the fund needed for her operations.

Skyler's Palatoplasty

Skyler is now undergoing the palatoplasty as I write this update. Support from family and friends continue to pour out. We are praying for Skyler's safety.

Our journey continues. Skyler was admitted today in the Philippine General Hospital as preparation for her palatoplasty scheduled for tomorrow. We pray that everything go smoothly. We ask everyone's prayer as well for Skyler's safety.

This weekend, we started Skyler's doctor clearances for her upcoming palatoplasty, which is the operation to close the hole in her palate. We hope that everything go smoothly. We will post updates from time to time. We ask everyone's prayer for Skyler's safety.
Planning for Skyler's Palate Operation

The plan now is to ask for clearances with several pediatricians to roll out Skyler's first operation, closing her cleft palate. By next week, we are scheduled to meet with Skyler's primary pediatrician. . . . .
Skyler's ABR Test

She failed her hearing test during her new born screening and she had to undergo this test to further evaluate her hearing.
