Funding for My Degree in International Business

Hello Everyone,

My name is Farrah Younes and I am pursuing my degree in International Business with a track in Marketing and in order to graduate I must complete an internship abroad; however, with the rising costs of living I am not able to pay my bills while completing my internship abroad, which is unpaid. It has been my goal and dream since I was 13 to get a degree in International Business.

The two jobs that interest me the most are International Trade and Product Manager. These jobs typically require travel and working with other people from all over the world. In order to qualify for those positions, I need to graduate with a major in International Business and Marketing background.

I love learning about new cultures and I believe that pursuing my internship in Egypt will not only allow to me to grow professionally, but also individually. I firmly believe that it will teach me a lot and will help me in my future endeavors when I travel the rest of the world. It will also allow me to get a job in Dubai, UAE more easily if I am able to complete my internship in Egypt, which is where I am planning to apply to once I graduate.

I believe I am a deserving recipient because I am hardworking, ambitious, and always want to learn new information. I worked hard to return to university and complete my degree even with all the obstacles that came my way in order to achieve my dream. The obstacles and challenges I faced led me to become stronger as an individual. Studying at University of Texas at Dallas has been an amazing experience, not only because I am finally on the right path, but also because of the culture I am part of.

I am part of the Global Business Organization and the Arab Student Association and I was part of the IFriend program last semester and got to meet and help others who had just recently moved to America and needed help adjusting and making new friends. I work hard in order to maintain balance between my studying, work, and time for myself.
