Please help us, we’re drowning in medical bills

I am writing to you, humbly asking for help once again as these financial difficulties that confront us seem insuperable. We have been here in the hospital for about 3 months now, she has a chest tube on her right lung to help her lungs expand and to drain the air on her chest cavity, and a mass on the left lung that they confirmed to be a non-small cell lung cancer.

Even with stage 4 lung cancer, and her right lung has a rupture that causes it to collapse, my Mom is still in high spirits, asking after everyone-- me and my sisters, my father, even after the doctors and the nurses, despite being now bed ridden and connected to a machine to help her breathe. She requires 2 private nurses as the nurses in the hospital has to accommodate 3-5 patients per nurse, and we have already spent about 55,000 PHP or about 1,000 USD for the private nurses and would need about 40,000 PHP or about 770 USD more PER WEEK as long as she's connected to the machine. Our goal for this week is for her to be able to breathe without the help of the machine.

Since we've been here in the hospital for about 3 months, the bill has accumulated to a total of 1,410,443.17 PHP or about 27,000 USD. We've been actively asking for loans from friends, family and good, generous souls on here at GoGetFunding and were able to pay 340,000 PHP or about 6,500 USD. As of today, the running bill is at 1,070,443.17 PHP or about 20,500 USD excluding the doctors' fees. The hospital is asking us to pay at least 50% by tomorrow, 3rd of October pay and in the event that we fail to do so, they would put out account on "cash basis"... Cash we do not have for medicines, supplies and ancillary procedures needed.

Again, we are appealing to your generosity and kindness to help us get by, and I ask for those generous and kind hearted beings to help us financially. We will be forever grateful and thankful for all the support and assistance that you can give us. Even if you're not able to help us in our monetary plea, keeping Mama in your thoughts and prayers, and sharing this post for potential donors is already a big help.
