Funding for Danny Sucahyo who’s fighting for Seminoma Cancer Stage 3

This post marks the start of my journey to fight Seminoma cancer stage 3. Wait, what? What happened? How come? 🙃
So I’ve prepared a recap of what I’ve faced in the past few weeks:

To start with, I’ve been coughing for more than 2 months and starting to realize that my stamina’s been dropping. Thought it was caused by bunch of activities I took on September (really, it’s been the toughest month of the year beside karantina Abnon last April), I’ve been trying to use stamina’s booster like Tolak Angin and other else like what I usually do when I feel not fit, yet it failed me this time 😂 My face had also became swollen every morning but it usually gets better in the afternoon, so I didn’t really pay attention to that.

Later on, because of my cough didn’t get well, I took a visit to a hospital in Indonesia, decided to do CT scan thorax. Surprisingly, they found quite large tumor within my mediastinum. It’s pressing my veins and cause the swollen face. It also affects my breathing as well, causing me to cough and becoming a little bit breathless.

They suggested to do the biopsy immediately to find out more about the mass, which we did. Yet, the result was inconclusive. Though they were sure that it is malignant, they weren’t able to determine what kind of cancer it is. They suggested to do biopsy again with a bigger needle, but we thought it’s better to look for a second opinion

So we went to Singapore to do the biopsy again. This time it went surgical way, they needed to make a small cut through my lung to take some tissue for further assessment.
Today, the result came out as Seminoma stage 3. Will undergo throughout 3 cycles of chemotherapy , each cycle consists of 3 weeks of medication & rest. The root cause of this is still unknown, but mostly it’s caused by very rare genetic mutation.

What I’m trying to say here, please check for your health. I can say I am considered to be lucky to know my condition right now when I’m still able to do my activities well and communicate well with my peers. If you are well, I’m really happy for you. But if it went otherwise, just don’t worry, everything will be good in time ☀️☀️
