Funding for a camera Repair

Hi,

I'm interested in photography, recently i brought a used camera from a seller which was sold online with warranty by a retailer, the diopter is not working and everything else works. however when i got the item and tried claiming it, the warranty turned out to not cover accidental damage and the previous owner had drop it before. I would like to fund the repair cost of my camera, i am still trying to contact the re-seller but i think my luck is slim to get my money back i am enjoying photography and hope some of you can help me repair it as Nikon repair cost is expensive.
