Due to Covid-19, thousands of poor children in the Philippines cannot access distance learning since they don't have internet access for modular learning.
We are opening up a local funding project to pay for a local teacher that will come and teach a small group of children in Bohol, Philippines and require $100 per week to pay for the teacher at a rate of $5 per hour.
We seek to raise an annual amount to cover the cost of the teacher for this coming school year, a total of $2,500.
Your help in funding our project will go to teach poor children in first year high school for the coming year.
All we ask is for a small donation, $10, $15, $20...whatever amount you can provide will help us provide young students from poor families access to education during this long school lockdown era, and give them the tools to succeed in life and to break their families cycle of poverty.
Added FeatureUpdate posted by Gina Kano at 11:26 pm
Thanks to everyone we are now adding an additional feature where we provide the young students with writing paper and implements (pens, pencils, erasers), we also provide this to some of the families in the area to help their children with their educational needs.
