Raising funds for a business start-up.

For as long as I can remember, I always dreamed of opening a business based on my passions. In 2007 I started my first business in photography. However, I learned very quickly that just because you're good at something doesn't mean you can run a business based solely on your skill, talents and gifts. While I was able to get extraordinary opportunities, business-wise, it wasn't solid. I was funding my business, out-of-pocket, to keep it open, but one can only do that for so long.

Where did things go wrong? - I was talented in my photography but knew nothing about running a business.

In 2011, I stepped back from the photography scene and dedicated myself to learning how to successfully run and manage any type of business and enrolled in the Bachelor of Science program in Business Administration, with a focus on Business Management. Graduating in 2014, I now possessed the skills and knowledge need to start, run, and manage a successful business.

Since 2014, and after having recovering and persevering from challenges in my personal life, I have concentrated on acquiring the tools and skills needed to create a rock-solid foundation on which to create and build a successful business.

Today, I would like to introduce the formation of OurDest Incorporated.

A play on words of "Our Destiny," OurDest, Inc. is a multi-faceted service-oriented corporation. Aiming to bring together entrepreneurs, self-proprietors, and other service oriented small businesses and incorporating their skills and talents while providing a business backbone and structure in which everyone succeeds. We bring the business knowledge, they bring the raw talent, and together we establish a profitable and powerful corporation.

Startup Funding will be used for registering and incorporating in the State of Connecticut, Information Technology Infrastructure (Office365, Adobe Creative Cloud, website hosting, etc.), and other associated start up costs (sales tax licenses, financial accounting, IRS registration, etc.).
