A campaign to raise funds to help me go back to school and complete my matric year in 2021
Hello Friends, Family and Faithful givers
My name is Ngcwelekazi Dlanjwa , a 2021 matriculant from ENtlaza village in the transkei, and this is my story.
When I was two years old I lost both my parents and I lost all connection to my father's side of the family. My aunt (my mother's sister) became my sole guardian, she was unmarried which meant she had to take on the responsibility of raising and providing money for me on her own. We were doing fairly well up until a few months ago where everything went downhill. We were not able to pay for last year's 4th term which left us with a debt of R5 632, I am in matric now and the fear of not knowing how I am going to pay for my education made a stressful year even more stressful.
Here's the thing though, there are so many other children in this country who have a story similar to mine. There are so many other children who are raised by single parents or in low-income households and have no way of paying for education on a secondary level. It is so easy to focus on finding funding for tertiary level students, forgetting secondary level learners also lack funds to continue with their education.
Please help me and my aunt raise the outstanding balance in my school tuitions so I can go back to school.
