Hi, I am Ester and I am knocking on the goodness of your heart to help my daughter with her treatment.
2019 has been such a wonderful year for our family, as it was filled with abundant blessings and immeasurable joy. It sure did ended with a bang and we made lots of plans and we had high hopes for a better year ahead. But all of these hopes and plans crumbled down, upon welcoming the year with the news of my daughter's medical condition.
My 12-year old daughter, Patricia Mae, was diagnosed with B- cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia accompanied by splenomegaly last January 16, 2020, and has been going through intensive treatment since then. For 2 months now, she has been undergoing chemotherapy and according to her doctors, she needs to undergo chemotherapy treatment for 3 full years. We have also been told that her chemo meds alone will cost us half a million pesos and we don't know how much it would cost us if we were to add the supplies she will be needing for the next few years.
Her condition has been a big question and avenue of doubt for our whole family. A lot of questions and worries constantly filled our minds yet we have no choice but to show everyone that will be able to go through this matter and eventually, triumph.
We never thought that we could possibly encounter such a challenge in our lives, especially on my daughter's. Needless to say that 2019 was 'the' calm before our storm. We constantly believe that no problem is ever too big for us and not burden too heavy to carry will be placed on our daughter's shoulder. However, my daughter is still so young to battle all of these.
She was diagnosed with cancer.
She stopped schooling.
She stayed at home, isolated.
She spent most of her days in a week in the hospital.
Yet she continuously showed us how strong of a fighter she is. She showed us how much she wanted to defeat cancer and how much she wanted to get back on track and this is enough for us to fight for her and for her health.
Unfortunately, we are so close to exhausting all our resources and we do not know how to sustain her future medical needs and expenses.
With that, we would truly appreciate your prayers and donations, no matter how small. It will definitely make an impact and will make my daughter's life better.
