ALK+ lung cancer mostly affects healthy non smoking active adults (65% women) mostly in the prime of their lives age 30- 65. ALK+ lung cancer is estimated to kill around 80,000 each and every year. Nearly all are in the prime of their lives with family and careers, and as mentioned nearly all were active, healthy, non- smokers before they were diagnosed.

The purpose of the Fund is to conduct research URGENTLY to find a way to keep these people alive and well. We need funds NOW to pay for this research. People are dying every day, action is needed NOW.
