Fund Raul’s Cancer Treatment

His name is Raul G. Baro, loving husband of beautiful woman for 31 years, a dedicated father of 5 and grandfather of 2 handsome boys. He is a devoted family man who spent all his time and energy to provide support, guidance and love for his family. He is a very hard-working and God-fearing person who never failed to go above and beyond what is needed for his family and help other people especially his loved ones. He lived a regular uneventful yet happy life.

He was blessed to see two of his 5 children get married and build their own families. Aside from his family, he has also built strong and lasting relationships with friends and colleagues alike. His kind heart has always been ready to extend assistance to anyone who would come for help. Beyond the usual trials and challenges, he had a life that one could consider as fulfilled. But then, as if in a cruel twist of fate, it would not remain so. He and his family would encounter the biggest challenge that they would ever face.

Here was how it all began:

Our father (Raul) felt a small pimple like lesion near his left armpit early January 2019. He gave it no attention until it started to get bigger and cause pain. Initially he was taken to a small hospital, but the first doctor failed to diagnose my father’s condition properly thinking that it was just normal furuncles. After surgery and few weeks of medications, his wounds didn't heal and took a turn for the worst. It started growing rapidly and had occasions of bursting with a lot of blood. We had to immediately take him to another doctor for a second opinion at Asian Hospital which has bigger facility last February 27, 2019. What was supposed to be a normal check-up turned into an unexpected and heartbreaking event as the doctor immediately decided that my father needs to be confined for blood loss and apparently large lesion. After undergoing a battery of tests i.e. CT Scan, biopsy, blood tests etc., he was diagnosed with Stage 1 Lymphoma Cancer last March 6, 2019.



The hospital bills and treatment costs skyrocketed and we’re unable to cover the expenses for the entire treatment. The savings that we have were insufficient and could not cope with the cost necessary to manage his condition. We have tried to find other ways to cover his expenses and bills, but our resources have become limited and, though we have tried to be self-sufficient as our dad taught us and raised us to be, we have to accept the fact that this is beyond what we can handle financially.

We are seeking all possible avenues to raise the needed funds including government assistance programs and other charitable institutions, but these are tedious and takes time before the request is even evaluated. Because of this, we are asking your generous and giving hearts to help this wonderful person in his fight against cancer. With humble hearts we seek your generosity to raise the funds to cover his medical expenses, so we can extend and prolong the life of the head of our family.



We would also like to ask for prayers that he be given the strength in his battle on his way to the healing that we claim. All donations will be used for all the hospital bills and treatment cost of my father. Thank you and God Bless.
