Please help me raise funds to source personal protective equipment (PPE) and other medical supplies/equipment for our health workers and front-liners in Negros Occidental. Now, more than ever, we need your generosity and support. Our front-liners are getting infected because they do NOT have sufficient protection against the virus. Without them, we will be left with no one to care for the sick.
May God bless you and your family and keep you all safe and well. Thank you.
We have started sewing the PPEs in Bacolod. We purchased 200 meters of PPE fabric. Production has started and they look very sturdy to protect our frontliners.
We have also already paid for the following additional materials here in Manila:
100 taffeta fabric - Php3,500
garter, velcro, thread, zipper, sliders, etc. - 2,395
These will be delivered tomorrow.
The 200 N95 masks are still stuck in Incheon, Korea. Let's pray they arrive soon. There are 1000 more masks that can be ordered but will not do so until the first 200 arrives soon.
Have also ordered 10 boxes of sodium ascorbate in Bacolod.
Starting to consolidate the supplies so we can send to Negros soon.
Thank you to everyone who has helped make this possible. I've received donations from people I don't know. Some have helped to put me in touch with people who can make the PPEs or donate some medical supplies. Thank you! May God bless you for your generosity a thousandfold.
As of March 28, we have raised a total of Php74,300 already. Some donors directly deposited to a bank account. We've used part of the funds raised for the following:
- gloves 2000 pairs - Php8,000 (on hand)
- kn95 masks 200 pcs - 20,000 (already shipped through Fedex from China. Based on tracking, it's now in Incheon, Korea.)
- ventilator filters 60 pcs - 15,000
- fabric for PPE 200 meters (similar to cloth used in parachutes) - 13,000
A colleague's friend also provided 50 face shields for free. We have also ordered additional cloth and materials for PPEs. This will be delivered on Monday. Once i have most of the materials next week, I will then ship to Negros Occidental.
There's also another 1,000 kn95 masks. That will cost around Php100,000. We will have it shipped from China also. We are looking for cheaper suppliers of goggles, shoe and head covers.
Thanks to you, our frontliners will have a better chance of fighting COVID-19. God bless your generous hearts. Stay safe and well.
