Fund Raising for Kuya Mye’s Dialysis

Greetings of Peace!

My name is Tuesday Lantajo, eldest daughter of one of the most important person I made this gofundme campaign for...my father, Mario Galvan Eslao. He is 73 years old and a Diabetic Type 2 patient which caused his Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5. Due to these two ailments, he is now undergoing thrice (3) a week dialysis treatments since January 3, 2018.

"Kuya Mye", as he is called by family and close friends, has been confined at Baguio General Hospital Medical Center on a monthly basis for a total of 32 days of confinement. He had cardiac arrests twice last March 2018 while at the BGHMC ICU for 10 days. Yearly, Philhealth (Philippine health coverage) covers 90 sessions of dialysis treatments. However, hospital days (the 32 days confinement he had) were deducted from his 90 sessions which was exhausted last May 22, 2018.

In view of the above, me and my family have been paying out in cash for all his dialysis treatments, home medications, monthly vaccines and laboratory tests. Our current status despite having jobs couldn't cover all of his needs. We can no longer bear this burden as our resources are depleted because he has been ill since March 2017 (bedridden and wheelchair bound when he felt capable at times). Due to this financial difficulty, we are humbly and ardently appealing for the prayers, support and generosity of our dear friends, relatives and kind-hearted folks to enable us to meet Kuya Mye's medical requirements to help sustain his well-being and hopefully recover (he hopes to play bowling as soon as he is able.)
