Fund Our Wedding!

Thank you so much dropping by. It could have been something that moved you to visit this page, and for all the reason there is, we are glad that you are here :)

We are Ammar (groom-to-be) and Syaz (bride-to-be), two Malaysians based in Kuala Lumpur. Physically, we are just a young couple with small average jobs, but metaphysically we are quite the "old souls" with big ambitious dreams.

Until this day, we have never imagined we would meet each other, and to tie the knot for a lifetime! We are sure most of you could relate to our story, and like many other stories, things don't often go as planned (we planned to settle down in 2 years' time). We have been together for a year now, and we do things together almost every day.

Each day, our hearts grow fonder. Each day, we want to be closer.

Just like many loving couples out there, we share the same dreams, needs and hopes to get married in the easiest and simplest way possible! We are extremely lucky and pleased that both of our parents agreed to our minimal theme, itinerary and arrangements (no exchanges of wedding gifts, no fancy setups, and no boastful features).

We have set the date to be on 10 October 2020 (Saturday), which is a nice date and quite cool when you write it in Roman numerals - X.X.XXXX.

Now, the budget part. We hope to raise another USD15,000 for two big reasons:

1. Big headcount - 500 pax or more. It's an ethnic-tradition (Malays) that we have to invite almost everyone from both families., Unfortunately, both family sizes are quite big.

2. Simple wedding, but with proper quality and arrangements - we chose to have a minimal and simple wedding, yes, but this doesn't mean we have to compromise the F&B and venue quality. Nothing extravagant, our venue is a medium-sized hall with decent views and good accessibility for the elderlies.

We will be grateful and pleased if you contribute :)

We hope that with this funding, we would be able to host the wedding of our dream - a minimalistic and simple wedding yet meaningful and full of smiles. Syaz and I can't imagine how life would be if we don't have each other and we look dearly forward to grow together.
