Fund our school team

When we started our team three years ago, we set many targets for ourselves, all with a goal to best represent Ain Shams University’s students in engineering and in the sciences. Those targets were establishing an ACI (American Concrete Institute) student chapter, establishing an ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) student chapter, entering some ACI competitions. Despite multiple hardships along the way, we have already reached those milestones, and now we have already registered for the FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) competition and the FRC (fiber reinforced concrete) competition. Now we also want to register for the concrete canoe competition so that we can enhance our technical skills and get some valuable hands-on experience. However, as a self-funded team, we are facing significant challenges concerning funding. To attend our competition, we need to plan the transportation of our 22 feet concrete canoe. While we are confident that we can solve all the technical issues related to shipping, our dream is on the brink of collapse due to the lack of funding. We are determined to defend our dream of becoming better engineers, so we started this campaign to raise funds for transporting the canoe. In addition to shipping, our expenses include our plane tickets and accommodations for our trip to the competition. All in, we need $23000, but if we calculated that if we can get $16000, we cab manage the rest. After three years of hard work and high stress, we are not about to give up. We would really appreciate it if you can pitch in and give us chance to transport our canoe, compete in the competition, and showcase our work. Thank you!
