Raju Lama is an art teacher at in Kathmandu. Unfortunately the school were he worked is now unsafe because of the damage the earthquake caused. The students can’t attend anymore and tourists aren't visiting to buy the stunning hand painted Buddhist Thangkas they create anymore, so Raju, his family and the other art teachers from the school no longer get a monthly salary to live on.
They’re in desperate need with no income (as you can see from the photos) and this will help sustain the art teachers, their families and the villages they come from in the long term until things in Nepal improve.
Me and my team of digital developers have donated our time and skills for free to and have finally set up a store for Raju and the other art teachers to sell their stunning artwork.
Please help fund art materials - any amount will help.
By funding their art materials it will mean they can start rebuilding the business they had before the earthquake happened and continue to paint amazing artwork.
If you can't donate - you can help by sharing the link to this funding page or buy a Thanka yourself : )
