My name is Nada Skali Senhaji, I am 19 years old and I am a first year law student. I applied to the Women2Women program two months ago and I just got accepted with a partial scholarship (1500 dollars). I also need to pay for my plane ticket in order to secure my place in this prestigious program. I applied last year and I was accepted with the same conditions, but the reason I didn't go was money. This year, I am really willing to go because this program will help me a lot in discovering the world of human rights since I am majoring in law.
I am a very active girl and I love doing extracurricular activities. I believe that these programs help shape our personalities, enhancing our leadership skills alongside making us global citizens.
I have participated in many programs in my country Morocco and abroad, such as Yale Young Global Scholars Program in June-July 2017 with a full scholarship from Yale University. When I applied for the YYGS program, I was playing the odds. Even though I'm a positive person, I wasn’t so optimistic about being accepted to the YYGS program, for a very simple reason which is that I have never applied for neither such programs abroad nor for a scholarship to cover program fees. Not receiving a full tuition scholarship was synonym for me of not participating in the YYGS program. Actually, being a girl and a member of a Moroccan modest family, made my chances to participate in YALE Exchange Program zero to none. Thus, I was counting so much on that full scholarship.
The fact that I could not afford this Women2Women program didn't stop me to create a Crowd Funding account. I really count on people who are willing to fund a very motivated girl who will never give up on achieving her dreams.
EVERY CONTRIBUTION MEANS A LOT TO ME.
