Life is a bit of a vicious cycle, at one time you can be on a high and at other times a terrible low. I have been through ultimate highs but also rock bottom lows BUT I usually rise from the ashes like a Phoenix. This time it is different. I am 60 years old, in a different country and environment, while the believe in me is still strong but I think this time I might break and thus resorting to initiatives to remain relevant and for a new start in life, a second wind if you may. My CV is here >>>>>>.
I have been unemployed and on the benefit for 4 months and cant get a job as I don't have NZ experience or so they say although I have been here for 4 years. My previous qualifications like MBA (Australia) and other PG qualifications (UK) etc don't carry much weight, I don't know why. I need an NZ qualification to get a decent job.
From a previous life when I was at a high, a video was presented to me at when I was a CEO of a Not-For-Profit Hospital in Malaysia back in 2016, how I miss it; please view it here ->
A NEW LIFE WITH A NEW JOB/CAREER IN NEW ZEALAND
I am planning to upskill and do a course in Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional from Governance New Zealand (https://www.governancenz.org/). They have given me exemptions in 3 modules (letter attached as an image) and I need to do the remaining 4 modules to obtain both qualification. I can do 3 modules by June and the last one by November 2020. I have always done office jobs and not in the best of health and suffer from Coronary Heart Disease.
I have a family, they are comfortable in NZ as they are from here, while I am not. I just want to get off the benefit and earn my own money. Please help me to get a new start, please.
