Fund My Travels w/ Discounted Rates

Greetings & thank you for taking time out to read up on my 'project'.

My name is Abel Fermin and I am a freelance photographer trying to find my place in the market without losing sense of who I am and why I started shooting in the first place. To Create, Inspire, & Document our world for future generations.

Through my 4 years as a photographer, of course there have been great achivements and great fails. Each day is a new day to refine my craft and perfect it before I dare call a snap shot art.

In 2014, I would like to create and publish my very first book. I would like to create a book for kids and parent to enjoy together. For my book to be a show and tell item at a classroom. 

I inspire to create a book on the wild, beautiful, and diverse ecosystem that is Costa Rica.

Equipped with a 10-22mm, 28-75mm, 70-200mm, and most recently, 100mm Macro lens, I would like to spend at least 3 months in the country of Costa Rica waking up and going to sleep with camera in hand. 

From epic waterfalls, to incredible macro insect life. There is so much to capture and share with the world.

This is my second at fund raising. The first was a success and I am very thankful for that considering I wasn't offering nothing in exchange. That was to help with my current camera as my first was in non working order.

This time around, I would like to offer all my fans and supporters discounted package deals for professional quality photography sessions. From a $50 shoot to a $1,200 weddings. Your donation can be redeemed for a listed package deal. "Just Cause" Donations are also welcomed.

I'm requesting $1,600. $600 would be a roundtrip flight to and from. $1,000 will cover up to 3 months stay at a hostel. I've been saving myself, so food and other requirements are covered.. just looking for a boost. Most will say to work and save, but I am yet to be able to find a full time job. I'm currently a relief worker with random days and hours. Nothing consistant and I don't get hired often enough to save through photography yet.

Please keep in mind i'm located in NEW YORK CITY. I can only offer these packages to people in NEW YORK CITY or willing that are willing to travel into the city. 
Packages can be used for event coverages as well. Some modifications and restrictions apply however.

Vouchers may be REDEEMED BY MARCH 1st! If not redeemed by then, you can still get your session AFTER June 1st! Vouchers are valid for 15 MONTHS. So you don't have to shoot right away. You can take advantage of the discounted prices now and shoot when YOU are ready from now till March 2015. This includes weddings!
