SOTE Networks comes from a Kiswahili word. In English, it means ‘All of Us’ an indication of oneness and diversity. It lets you discover and connect with individuals, groups and brands that help you have fun while positively transforming your life and the society at large. Its aim is to inspire passion for authentic interactions, conscious capitalism, humanity, conservation of nature and personal development in a fun-based manner. The platform harbors motivating, inspiring and enlightening real-life personal stories, experiences, life-journeys and confessions etc; gratitude section where organizations and individuals transforming lives in different ways are celebrated by others; and a range of #challenges to have fun and encourage self-development while giving back to the society. Sharing of authentic and real-life experiences, stories, activities, secrets, confessions, fears, desires, and teachings. E.g. sharing authentic images/ videos of your day-today hustle, the ups and downs, behind the scenes stories, experience when travelling. Here the use is only talking about him/herself and being open about his/her past, day-to-day life, and future prospects/ desires. The purpose of this feature is to have a society with authentic social interactions, where individuals can use their personal stories and experience to motivate, inspire and enlighten others, to have a humane society where people understand the ups and downs other people’s brand’s day-to-day lives including current, past and future lives. Sharing things like confessions and secrets is also important for self-healing, one way of self-development. When brands and organizations are real and humane easily connect with their target audience. One of the main features of this platform is the partial anonymity. Since the users are being real and authentic, when sharing things like personal secrets and confessions based on factual truth, users might want to hide their ID on such posts, temporarily. This feature allows users whose profile is 100 percent verified and filled to select “anonymity feature” when posting something sensitive as far as their ID is concerned.
