Fund my Robotics Centre

South Africa is a country with one of the highest rates of child abuse and neglect and a
high rate of single parent households. Children from such households and disadvantaged/ poor households do not always receive exposure to high-end educational and technical programmes such as Robotics which offers valuable rewards for young children. Robotics and programming equipment are not cheap and accessibility is thus difficult. The benefits of Robotics and programming is two-fold: it assist learners to turn their frustration into innovation and also teach early engineering skills. A field that needs much development in South Africa. My aim with this project is to start a robotics centre that will be open to children from specifically single-parented and poor households.
