Hello and thank you for taking the time to browse my profile. My name is Tom, I was born in the South East of England and ever since I was young I've aspired to become a homocide detective. I struggled with highschool education for many personal reasons. I left school with a small quantity of qualifications and this fundamentally meant I am not eligible to attend university over here (unless I get accepted as a mature student, which is highly unlikely for many factors). I have been given an opportunity to travel to America and attend a university. This university has not only given me a chance at my dream, they've also encouraged me to strive for the best. As I would be classed as an international student, I would not receive any funding from the American Government, nor would I receive funding from the British Government. I am eligible to receive certain grants provided by the university, however these grants only subsidise the total tuition fees slightly. To achieve my dream and my degree, the overall tuition and living costs is around $80,000. I am working incredibly hard to fund this dream by getting two jobs and working a lot of overtime. However, my earnings are not substantial enough to achieve my goal. Any donations I receive will mean the world to me, you're helping me make something out of my life.
