Fund My Education

Hello my name is Nicki and I am 19. I am at a performing arts college in St Neots, the name of the college is Stageworks.

The college prepares us for auditions to go onto a leading performing arts training facility who offer 3 years training courses and in the course they give guidance direction of an industry led faculty.

I was on a 2 year course at Stageworks and was due to finish last year, I auditioned at a number of performing arts colleges last year and was successful in being offered a number of places at different colleges, I was unable to go due to funding as I was relying on a Dance and Drama Award (DADA), but was unsuccessful. I was relying on an award as my mum and dad both work but are on a low income and cannot afford the fees.
Stageworks was kind enough to let me stay on at there college for another year and I am now auditioning again and have already been offered 5 places with more auditions to do. I has been offered a place at one of the colleges I have always wanted to go to for some years, the name of the college is Masters Performing Arts, but Masters unfortunately do not offer DADAs but I have been offered a reduced fee off £3,200 per term which is £9,600 a year.

This means so much too me. My parents have had a work out and believe the amount for the three year course and accommodation to be in the region of £35,000. Any money would be a massive help and I would be so grateful.
