My name is Ilse Basson, a Natural Bikini fitness competitor, with an unbelievable journey.

At the age of 9 I was misdiagnosed for Goiter and treated for it up until they discovered, at age 13, I had Hyperthyroidism all along. This lead to my thyroid being permanently removed, leaving my metabolism no-existend and my hormones all over the place.

I went from an under weight pre-teen to anexcessively overweight teen, gaining over 70kgs on 6 months after my thyroid was dissolved.

After years of Dancing, training and dieting with the help of my coach Jrkfitnes, I stepped on stage for the first time in March 2015. And I haven't stopped since.

I recently qualified to compete on the World's stage in Brussels Belguium on the 25 and 26th of November 2016.
