Fund for Tita Virgie’s Battle Against Cancer

Hi Family, Friends and Friends of Friends, I'm Mich one of Tita Virgie's nieces. Tita Virgie is 60 years old, diagnosed on January of last year (2022) with Stage 3B Breast Cancer, and now potentially has metastatic cancer in her lungs. She has been diagnosed with triple-negative ductal carcinoma. Many breast cancers are treated with hormone blockers but this cancer will not respond to many of the available treatments. It is also more aggressive than other breast cancers making treatment more difficult and a longer road.

She has been fighting since then and has gone through several chemotherapy and operations. The costs of these treatments, along with swab tests, body scans, ultrasounds, bone scans, biopsy, GPs, and surgeons, exhausted and drained our family's finances. She's currently at UST Hospital due to pneumonia but she is getting better and is now ready for another round of chemotherapy.

In addition to paying for the ongoing hospital bills, all funds raised will be used to start chemotherapy treatments.

Our hope is that we can raise enough money to help Tita Virgie get through this difficult period without having to continually worry about her bank balance. Any donation you make to help her, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
