Hello everybody. This is Mrs. Marissa Secina. A caring mother of 2. And a supportive wife to Mr. Patrocinio Secina or Kuya Jun, as we call him. I don't know Ms. Marissa personally, but because Kuya Jun has been our trusted security guard for more than 8 years, he has confided in me his current financial problem.

Ms. Marissa, with their 2 sons, were living in Misamis Occidental while Kuya Jun is working here in Manila. They have decided this living set-up years ago because living costs in the Metro is far more expensive than in the province. They have not seen each other since then.

But late last March, 2018, Kuya Jun has come forward with a grave news. His wife was calling for him because of pain in her stomach area. Insufferable pain which causes her sleepless nights and continuous sobbing. We advised him to tell his wife that she needs to go to a doctor and get herself checked up so that we may know what her problem was. Since Kuya Jun's salary is not enough, he has no savings whatsoever, he still has debts to pay for and the hospital is quite far from where they live, it was a really difficult situation for them.

Me and other employees have collected enough money so that Kuya Jun can send that money to his wife and have herself get checked up. According to the doctor there were kidney stones with alarming sizes that needs to be taken out by doing a surgery. These stones should be removed ASAP since this is blocking the urine from being excreted. Worst case scenario is her kidney would burst. This will cost them at least P80,000.00, more if his wife suffers any complications.

Seeing that they don't have this kind of money, Kuya Jun decided that his wife should just come to Manila, with their children, and try their luck here in looking for an alternative that is much cheaper than P80,000.00.

So again, we collected enough money to send his wife, his kids and all their belongings to Manila. We have sent enough for their tickets and pocket money in case something happens.

Fortunately, with the help of office mates, friends and with the assistance of the PCSO, Marissa had 2 separate surgeries on her kidney. There was some complications resulting to the 2nd surgery but as of this date, she is now recuperating.

The total amount of all her surgeries and hospital expenses is around P180,000.00.

The PCSO has paid half of the amount, while the other half was loaned from the company's Coop, 5-6, donated by colleagues in the company, the company, etc.

Right now, Kuya Jun comes to work at night as a security guard (12-hour shift), and then in the morning, he takes care of his 2 sons while tending to his recovering wife. Since he has loaned from the company, his usual salary, that is already not enough for his family, will be deducted a certain amount for 1 year. He still has not found any way of paying back the debts that his family incurred from this. He also does not have enough time in a day to look for other alternative jobs.

So please find in your heart to help him. How much you are willing to give is a great help for him.

Note: I will be giving him one of my ATM cards where your donations will be coming in. This way, accessibility for the donations will not be a problem for him.

Also, I will regiously post photos of receipts, proofs and documentations of Ms. Marissa for transparency.

Thank you so much. And God bless.
