Fund for Kirby Genton’s Chemotherapy

Last January 2015, it was confirmed that the lump on Kirby's chest and on his armpit were signs that he could be having leukemia. After several tests, it was confirmed that he has Infantile Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He was 5 months old then. They started with his chemo immediately. After 8 months of chemo, his laboratory results has been not good and his doctor declared that it is a relapse. This September 2015, the family is now starting back to Phase 1 again. His parents are working, but his father is not working full time to take care of Kirby. They are at the hospital almost every month. The bill is crazy. There are times that they had to stop the chemo because he is having other complications like allergies, fever, among other things. This means that they have to buy the medicine again.

We needed support to continuously provide the family of financial assistance for their chemotherapy. The doctor has said that there will be lots of challenges along the way like the need of portacath because he will be in chemo for a long period and since he does not understand things yet, he would always cry and scream and kick his feet or throw his fist when they will try to insert needle for his chemotherapy. It is a long journey for the family but we claim it towards healing.
