Hello..

My name is Erika and thank you very much in advance for your time.

My family and I have lived in Catarman, Northern Samar as tenants in this house for over thirty years. It used to be a bare two-room bungalow which my parents have turned little by little into a home. Since my dad suffered a stroke in 2005, most of our savings and earnings are diverted to medical bills and loans which we still pay to date on top of his maintenance. So we have regretfully been putting off house repair and reinforcement every after typhoon. It was 2013 with Typhoon Haiyan that the house suffered it's first collapse. Below pictures were taken after December 2019 Typhoon Kammuri.

A local architect provided an estimate of at least P250 000 for complete repairs and that is assuming the foundations are still stable enough to be built upon. With the same amount we can also purchase a prefab house but have yet received quotations.

I have completed preparations for work abroad that comes with a bigger salary when the pandemic happened. I'm afraid since then our financial debts have compounded to the point that we cannot afford another loan. Any amount will truly be great help to us. Rest assured that all will be paid forward.

Thank you very much..
