My name is Peter from a family of six (6) in Ghana, West Africa. Our father died about 6 months ago. He dedicated his life working as a farmer and he was able to fend for us (4 children) through to tertiary level of education. His farm called ALOMAL FARM was employing about 100 men and women years ago, however, before his demise, the farm gradually became unprofitable due to ill-health, improper management and lack of capital. On 25th of March 2019, the only vehicle for the farm was also involved in an accident putting the farm in a difficult financial situation. I would like to revive the farm because I know how well it was doing in the past. I am schooling in Turkey for a Master Degree in Agriculture, I will be graduating in April and planning to return home immediately to help revive this family business. I will definitely use the skills and knowledge I have acquired to help revive the farm. We have about 100 hectares of cultivable land to start with, but we still need money for labor, inputs, a new vehicle or repair the old one, and land. There is 10 hectares of COCOA plantation, and 25hectares of PAPAYA currently on the farm with no permanent employee or assured labor to work on the farm. This farm had once been very productive, and i still think I can make it a profitable venture again and also create employment opportunities for young men in my community.
Counting on your support. I will be glad to cooperate or partner with anyone interested in investing in a farming business in Ghana. Send an email to [email protected] if interested.
