Fund for emergency vet expenses and sterilization of stray cats and dogs

Dear public,

We need your help in ‏donations. We are a small group of animal activists in Israel, our main mission and sole concern is the welfare of the animals in this country and in general. We work day and night, and dedicate our lives to saving stray, tortured, abused and injured animals. In short, any animal that needs our help or rescue.

This rescue work has become a heavy financial burden - until now, we have been self-funding every rescue even though we are low-income earners. We take animals to vets and hospitals, and often animals need costly operations. All the animals have to be vaccinated, spayed and neutered, food needs to be provided, and often the animals need to be put in pensions (boarding facilities) until foster or forever homes are found. Every component of the rescue mission costs a lot of money. It is widely known that animal conditions in Israel and the West Bank are extremely bad due to lack of government funding or court leniency where abusers are favoured by judges. Did you know that there are zero animal rights laws both in the West Bank and Gaza? We face critical animal problems on a daily basis! The abuse is rife. Needless to say, the situation in the West bank is even worse due to lack of legal protection. We tackle countless obstacles when dealing with people on both sides of the Green line but will not be deterred from our mission to save any animal in need.

Our future goal and dream is to open a safe haven for animals, a sanctuary of sorts where we could bring in all homeless and injured animals, never turning away even one, and ensuring that they live the rest of their lives in peace. To realize this goal and to be able to continue doing our daily rescue work, we need community (local and international) funding. So we humbly request your generous assistance in helping us to continue helping and saving and securing the lives of all these innocent animals.
