Fund for baby Rapha with Down Syndrome and for my husband met an accident

At the beginning of year 2018, there are many challenges in our family life. This year has been the hardest or should I say the difficult year in our lives.

• Last January 2, I gave birth prematurely on an Emergency - Caesarean delivery because of complications. My due date was January 24 but because I had preeclampsia, I gave birth ahead of time. I gave birth to a baby boy, we named him Rapha Daniel (3.2 kgs). Doctors said they see features of Down syndrome in my baby. But we love him still, he is our precious gift from our Heavenly Father.
• On January 20, days after I gave birth, our baby underwent an operation for intestinal malrotation in Philippine General Hospital (PGH) and was confined at Pediatric Charity Ward for almost a month. Doctors suspected our baby has Down Syndrome. He was discharged on February 7. From that time until present, our baby is being monitored by doctors in PGH-OPD for check-ups like Pedia-High Risk, Pedia-Surgery, Pedia-Cardio, General Pedia, Developmental Pedia, Pedia-Endo, Pedia-Genetics, Pedia-Opthalmology, and ENT.
• Then on May 2, my husband met a vehicular accident in Manila. He also underwent an operation for Hematoma and pelvic binder. His left arm, left side of the pelvic and left leg are complete fracture. After the operation, he was confined in the ICU for close monitoring for 2 weeks and transferred to Surgery Ward for more than 1 week. He was discharged on May 26.

Our family went through all of these with our Almighty Father's help through the financial support of our family, friends and churchmates that time. My husband is a carpenter and is the only one working and providing for our needs before his accident. However, after his accident, he wasn't able to work until now because of his fractures. I, because of our baby's condition and followup check-ups at PGH, is at present a fulltime mother of two and a housewife. Good thing, our eldest daughter has been blessed by our Father of wisdom and became a city scholar of Sta. Rosa (full scholar) so our only problem is her everyday fare and food at school.

I created this fundraising account in support for our financial needs until my husband is able to work again for our family. We are presently living with my parents because we don't have our own house. Our baby has scheduled checkups especially now that we received his Karyotyping result stating that he has Down Syndrome. As a mother, I want my child to grow normally as other kids. That's why I'm knocking at your heart's door for prayers and support. Thank you so much in advance.
