For sixteen years, Chicago Hauntings has been showing natives and tourists the Chicago that exists just under the surface--about six feet under. The haunting tales of Chicago's storied past have amazed and intrigued thousands of tour guests, as we travel to the sites of the Eastland Disaster, the Great Fire, the St. Valentine's Day Massacre, Hull House and many other important historic--and haunted--sites. Our tours are based on the work of paranormal researcher, historian and native Chicagoan Ursula Bielski, journalist David Cowan and the ongoing research of our passionate staff of guides. A big part of our work goes to hosting many school groups, from middle school to graduate level, and senior groups as well, including a variety of low income student and senior populations. However, when we lost our famed "Ghost Bus" in a accident five years ago, we were forced to rent buses and, consequently, raise the prices of our tours to cover the costs. Sadly, this has meant that many school and senior groups can no longer enjoy and benefit from our history tours. And so we are raising funds to purchase a new used bus and put the "Ghost Bus" back on the streets of Chicago, bringing an awareness of Chicago's haunting history to all income levels of students and seniors.
