Nadia is a straight A student pursuing an integrated basic medical and human sciences MBBCh degree. After a successful career in finance she decided to sell everything to pursue a degree in medicine. Nadia has been top of her class for 3 years and is currently not able to continue her studies due to using her savings to support her parents and mentally disabled brother.

Besides being top of her class, Nadia has engaged in various volunteer work and internships including a two week elective last year in trauma surgery at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital and two weeks assisting on a TB research project for NHLS. She is also a member of the golden key honour society, MENSA and the wits surgical society. Her previous degree was an honours degree in advanced mathematics of finance.
