Fund a Dream

So we have this dream of converting a old Boat/Vessel in to a Luxury Floating hotel in Bocas Del Tore Province, Panama in the Caribbean Sea.

Lucky for us we have found the perfect vessel for the conversion unlucky for us the current owner will not accept a lower offer.

We have already raised $180 000 of our own funds please support us by helping to raise the additional $70 000 we fall short in making our dreams come true.

We are 2 south Africans on a journey to a more fulfilling life.

Here is a little bit about us so you can get to know us better. We would love to meet you and share stories over a sunset.

Elle: I was born in the small town of Kathu in the Northern Cape province of South Africa, with both my parents in the South African Defence Force we move around the country fairly often giving me the great opportunity to have seen most of the country I was born in. I met Quantin in 2015 and like fuel and fire our relationship grew from there. At the beginning of this we decided to pursue Quantin’s childhood dreams of blue oceans and white sandy beaches. When we packed our suite cases in May 2018 to head to Panama I would have never though I would be sitting here telling you about my self as we chase for a Dream Yacht Dream to have blue oceans and white sandy beaches. This journey has quickly grown from giving Quantin his dream to our Dream.

Quantin: I was born in South Africa and lived in Hartbeespoort till my current age of 30. Like everyone in this wonderful world I also dealt with hardships, the hardest being when I was 5 years old, I burned with oil. Over 30% of my body and face was left with 3de degree burns and scars. I was in hospital for over a year and return twice a year for the next 24 years for reconstructive surgery. This has put a very interesting perspective on life and has thought me a lot of valuable lessons the most important of all to be kind and understanding to humans and animals. I have developed a great love for dogs and my great Danes has helped me deal with everyday life. I believe I am a forward thinker and want to become an avid protector of marine life. Being closer to the ocean will allow me to spend more time and money towards local marine projects and ocean saving projects. Since I was 10 years old I have always been drawn to the oceans. Dreaming of blue waters and white beaches. Little did I know that my dreams where so close yet just out of reach. With your help those dreams can become a reality. Help me for fill my dreams so I can one day offer other people the same.

The province of Bocas Del Toro is beautiful, fascinating and unique. With beaches for every taste. We're planing to have the Hotel moored/anchored in the vicinity of Bocas Town from Friday to Monday. The town boasts a very lively night life with great tours to enjoy during the day. From Monday afternoon to Friday morning we hope to be sail the archipelago waking up to a new breath taking view every morning as we visit destinations like:

• Cayos Zapatilla Island

• Starfish Beach

• Breath taking coral reefs

• Great Sunsets

• Great Dolphin watching spots

Why wake up everyday to the same view when you can wake up to a different breath taking view everyday?

The Hotel will have plenty of snorkelling gear to appreciate the amazing coral reefs while we are anchored during the day. We will also have Kayaks, Paddle boards and other water toys.
