Fun Run/Walk for Education

We are a registered Non Profit Organisation (Good to Share Leadership Foundation) based and working in the poorest ward (8) in Riversdale, in the Hessequa Municipal area, Western Cape, South Africa. With poverty comes many social problems like teenage pregnancies, drug abuse, malnutrition, FAS children, etc. In ward 8 there are 3 crèche who delivers an much needed educational function to the community. Due to the poverty many of the toddlers parents can't afford paying for tuition any of these three crèches. This create a situation that the majority of the toddlers don't get the much need foundation in their schooling career. The main aim of the project is to raise funds for the three crèches to allow more needy toddlers to attend. At the Fun Run / Walk which will take place on the 16th of June 2018 in ward 8, Riversdale by means of a circular route around and through the ward over 5 km's. The participants can donate educational toys as a entry fee which will be distribute between the three crèches or pay an entry fee. The money hopefully raised through this campaign will be use for medals and trophies for the participants in the Fun Walk / Run and the rest divided between the three crèches.
