Full amputation for Bo’s paralysed leg

Bo a dog we found in the middle of the street with a big wound on his front leg in the size of a golf ball deep to his bones and 2 broken joints.

He was skin and bones but his will to live is what kept him alive, we cared for him for 2 months till the wound is healed and his front leg is completely paralyzed, weighing him down, with complete muscle atrophy.

The vet surgeon recommended that the only way is to have him get a surgery to remove the whole leg completely starting from the shoulder blade and we need the money for this complicated surgery and the after care and the medications.

It’s been 3 months and Bo is not allowed to run because he hurts this leg pretty badly as he drags it on the ground and gets deep wounds and blisters every time he goes out.

Bo was a hunting dog (Saluki) and we tracked down his owner wh had him for his hunting trips for rabbits but he gave him away when he knew he’s useless to him and not interested to help financially with the dog’s surgery so we took him in and adopted him to give him a better life than the one he had and we want to see him running again one day :)
