Fulfilling the last wish of an angel

Back in 2007 my wonderful god mother had sadly passed away. She was a wonderful, caring lady full of life and happiness. She was born in Iraq - Baghdad and later moved to Yerevan - Armenia before moving to the UK. She loved to tell of stories about her life, and i must say she was 1 in a million. One story that i never could forget was regarding the orphanages she used to go down to and help out with kids as she had such a strong connection and bond with them. Children always had brought her happiness. A very sad part of Iraqi culture was that once she turned 18 she did not have a husband and her parents disowned her, they said she was too old to have kids and no man would ever want to marry her....because of this she moved to Armenia and gave all the love she had for children to the orphans.

Her last wish before she passed away was for me to one day raise money and personally deliver it to the orphanage's in Yerevan - Armenia. I could feel the love and connection and she had with the orphanage's and I now have the time in my life to reach out and raise the money to fulfill her last wish.

The money raised would be split in the following ways if I raise under £1000 then 75% would go to the orphanage and the rest would go into buying toys, bedding, clothing and cosmetic products (toothbrushes, toothpaste etc.) for the orphans. If we raise less than a £1000 then I will donate the money to the "Nork Orphanage" in Yerevan

If we raise more than a £1000 I will give 90% of the money to the orphanage and 10% would go into buying toys, bedding, clothing & cosmetic products (toothbrushes, toothpaste etc.) I will divide the money equally between the Nork orphanage, Mari Izmirlyan orphanage and Mer Hooys orphanage in Yerevan.

The entire trip over to Yerevan would be documented and photos and updates will be posted to everyone who has donated. There are many organisations who claim to donate money to charity but at the end they do take a percentage for themselves which is why i am trying to raise this money and personally deliver it to the orphanage. The smiles on the children's faces would mean so much to my God Mother that she would be so happy that her last wish helped make the lives of those orphans better.

We are hoping to raise enough money to distribute between all 3 orphanages but to fulfill my God Mother's wish, I am looking for any amount of donations so I have set a low target of £1000. Hopefully I can reach this target and achieve what my God Mother sadly could not do.
