I am Valerina and I am a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences graduate. I have applied for a Master's degree in order to fulfil my dream as an ambassador or the UN staff, however, I cannot fulfil it since my parents do not support my dream as they think education is not important to fulfill my dream.
I have just finished my Bachelor's degree in Global Studies and Communication, however, these majors are not enough to fulfill my dream to work in a non-governmental organisation (NGO) or a UN staff as they mostly require a master's degree to apply there. If not, I would like to improve the research in my home country as the number of research papers that have been published by researchers is still low.
During my undergraduate study, I have been active in the Model United Nations and student body as a general secretary subcommittee. I was also awarded an Academic Merit Award due to my exceptional grade Furthermore, I have interned in one of the public affairs firms in Jakarta. I do love working in this field as I realised that this is my strength and will be beneficial for me to fulfil my dream. However, I often feel like it is very difficult for me to achieve because of the education requirements and it's only a few vacancies for fresh graduate in Indonesia to work in the research area.
I would like need some help to cover my tuition fee, my accommodation fee, as well as living expenses. To the people who are willing to contribute. I'll promise to pay you back in many ways.
Thank you so much for reading this and I hope my story can inspire you!
