Fuel Fundraiser for Sett-checking

Having found a number of blocked setts recently whilst doing our regular checks within the Gloucestershire Badger Cull Zone (which covers a lot of our normal sabbing territory) and whilst out sabbing local hunts, we're making sure we get more people to sett-check, especially when hunts are out. Regardless of who is to blame for blocking setts, whether it's the hunts or supporters, landowners or others, foxes trying to escape from hunts will be unable to go to ground for safety and rest and badgers will have their lives disrupted or be suffocated if the setts are fully blocked or if they've had diesel poured down them.In order to get more people out or to do extra driving to check the setts before sabbing (we've been getting out a few hours in advance of hunt meets to do checks, which has the added advantage that we have extra eyes out in the fields able to look for hunt meets and hunt and hounds once they move off), we need a little help with funding for fuel. Any extra money will go towards equipment (as we want a couple more cameras for new people - check out our Vimeo page to see the footage we get of hunt supporters and illegal hunting) and for fuel in the future, as we sab around 4 times a week, every week throughout the season.Thanks in advance! 3C
