HELP ME BATTLE MY ONE BIG FIGHT

I am Francia Beriña Marco, born in Camarines Sur, and sometime in September 2017, I was diagnosed with Pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma, Stage IIIA.

Such illness has greatly affected my health and my work. I have stopped working since I learned about the diagnosis as I was advised by my attending physician to immediately undergo 6 cycles of chemotherapy.

Pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma is a rare and controversial tumor of skeletal muscle. While it is in itself rare, it is even more rare for adults to acquire such an illness. At the moment, a team of medical experts from Indonesia has joined mydoctors at St. Luke’s so that they can use my case to further their studies and findings about Pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma, especially in adults like me. I welcomed the idea since it will shed light on the disease and, hopefully, it willcontribute to a possible major breakthrough in the diagnosis and treatment of a rare case of Pleomorphic Rhabdomyosarcoma in adults.

I am now beseeching the kind assistance of to extend financial aid so I would be able to undergo the required knee surgery. While family members extend whatever assistance they could give, such would not even be enough to answer for my daily medical expenses.
