In this dire time of need, a low-key group of heroes emerged. They don’t wear capes. They don’t fly. They have no superpowers. No matter. Unsung yet unbowed and with big, caring hearts, they risk their lives everyday to fight for our very own survival. They are the Fearless Frontliners!
Our frontliners deserve our appreciation and recognition of their courage and dedication to take the cudgels against an enemy that society has never faced before. COVID-19 has taken thousands of lives, including many of their kind; yet, our unnamed heroes continue to march and carry on the fight. As Aaron did to Moses, let us raise our frontliners’ tired hands.
This campaign aims to honor frontliners by creating figurines depicting their heroism in this dark and uncertain hour. These symbols will highlight the strength, bravery, selflessness, love, caring, compassion, and hope that our frontliners emanate. Furthermore, the project will aid them directly with a portion of funds generated to be donated to foundations or organizations that are supporting frontliners.
At a minimum, the team of hero figures consists of a doctor, a nurse, and a first responder (paramedic or military personnel). Other characters may be added if warranted.
Hero figurines will be donated and displayed in key hospitals, health centers, and other strategic locations that are central in the fight against COVID-19. This aims to prop up and lift the spirits of not just frontliners but patients and their loved ones. The goal is to have one set of heroes in each nation in the world. We will send these to country health ministries and coordinate with them on how and where these will be displayed. We are aiming to produce 200 sets of our hero figurines and around the same number to be given to project backers.
The funding will be used for the design, manufacturing, and shipment of the figures. Any excess of the funds generated will be given to frontliner organizations.
The initial prototype of each figurine is at least 9 inches tall and made from Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic. Upgrades may be made depending on the amount of funds raised.
As a backer of the project, you will get a reward depending on how much you will contribute. Any amount less than $100 will entitle you to at least 1 digital poster of the heroes.
All backers of the project can also participate in naming the individual heroes and the team. Backers can nominate a name for the male doctor, female nurse, female paramedic, and male soldier. As of now, we are calling the team Fearless Frontliners or FL2.

Together with a team of artists and designers, we started this project to immortalize our valiant frontliners who have been sacrificing and giving their all to save lives and make the world safer for mankind.
