From spring of Sava to Dunau delta

Greetings fellow wanderers,

We start from Zagreb and drive to National park Zelenici near Podkoren in Slovenia. From the spring of river Sava in Slovenia with a rubber boat to Zagreb, Croatia, and from there switching to sturdier and modified metal frame boat with shade. Traveling along the course of river Sava to her delta in Belgrade, Serbia. After exiting Sava, we join the flow of Dunau river and ride on the currents out of Serbia to the borders of Romania and Bulgaria, the river is a natural border, and flow to the end of Dunau in Romania where the river flows in the Black sea/Dead sea. Here the journey ends and we travel via train or car from Dunau delta to Bucharest spend two- or three-days site seeing, and we hop on a plane to Zagreb.

During journey there will be arranged delivers along the route with basic supply like water, food and maybe some fresh clothes, towels. Water is not drinkable on most parts of rivers.

The donations gathered would provide two used boats, one rubber one metal. Mandatory equipment for metal boat like anchor, ropes, first aid, safety garment, rain coat, sleeping bag and similar items. Also, it would cover the water and food supply and their distribution along the course, it would provide coverage of mobile signal in foreign lands in form of roaming, let’s hope nothing bad happens along the way, and to post social media content, for you dear donors. And finally, since there is uncertainty of the speed of which the journey will last there is no possibility of predicting my arrival in Bucharest, and hence I will be forced to buy the plane ticket on the completion of journey.
