FROM SOUTH AFRICA TO BLACKPOOL, ENGLAND

Karlheinz Krüger and Irene Kruger have been competing together since 2010. After only 4 months of dancing together they competed in their very first competition as a Bronze Latin American couple. This was the South African Championships hosted by the SADTA. They came first that year. Since 2010 Karlheinz and Irene have been privileged to be in every final of every competition they have danced. They are now a Adult Championship Latin American dance couple, who trains at Beverley Hammond Dance School in Garsfontein, Pretoria. Here they spend most of their time and earn most of their bruises.

This couple, after almost 8 years of competing on our national South African floor has now decided it is time to go to one of the most prestige dance competitions overseas. It is called the Blackpool dance festival, hosted in the beautiful Winter Gardens in the United Kingdom. To any competitive dancer, this is the event where you want to get noticed and want to excel. This couple will be hosting a fundraiser in December to show off their talents and to make all the guests feel extra special and to promote themselves.

Karlheinz and Irene do not want to just compete in the Blackpool dance festival, but they would love to go to the World Championships in Paris, the New York Dance Festival in the United States, the Dutch open in Germany, and that is only to name a few.

This Latin couple would like to embrace each and every opportunity possible and make South Africa proud to have them represent the beautiful country.
