From Darkness to Light Healing Center

Years from now, we are targetting at least $10,000.00 more or less with great hope as to build our first building structure for an office or a center that will Connect, Create and Uplift people who need spiritual and moral attention. The site or location for the building was already been allocated, a 120 sq.m lot located at Block 8 Lot 4 New Creation Home Owners Association, DLF Extension, Davao City Philippines. Building was partially build and it will be utilize for our volunteers as for their office in receiving programs and training facility. Any races, culture and belief are welcome to join for this cause and which someday may leads to fewer re-arrests and re-incarcerations.

Our mission is to save the dark life of a drug and alcohol users including these small time pushers in Philippines. Because most small time users are also sellers in most place. Then if they continue these kind of activity, a brutal death will always be their price here in our city. Life indeed is vulnerable to the world of darkness. Most cases are due to financial incapacity or to those who are capable but low in morale. These people need help. Mostly, they can't even have a chance to blend with the society after they are getting involved in this apparent misbehaviour. We will create an advocate to support the drug victims from urban to remote areas by providing them proper counseling or education. We will provide a skilled training program for free. We will also provide job recommendation and solicit medical attention for the rehabilitation program. Program will open to public and with the consent of the city government for consolidation.

Almost half of all prisoners abuse drugs or are drug-dependent, but only 10 percent received medically based drug treatment while they are incarcerated. Inmates who are untreated or not adequately treated are more likely to start using drugs when they are released from prison, and commit crimes at a higher rate than those who do not abuse drugs.
