Campaign Story
I am travelling to Ghana for 3 months to volunteer in the local hospital where I will be provided with the opportunity to meet members from the local community who face a diversity of illnesses such as TB, Malaria, Polio and Typhoid. These are illnesses which the citizens of Ghana may die from everyday but can be easily treated within our first world countries. I will be working alongside the charity "The Mighty Roar" who provide these people with the critical medical and healthcare which otherwise they would not receive. This is an invaluable experience towards my future career as I plan to become a doctor and continue my travels around the globe to help other third world countries with limited medical care and resources.
